We hosted my husband’s retirement party at Grace & Disgrace, and it was absolutely perfect. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere is truly something special. Ralph shared that growing up, his favorite uncle Sam had a bar in his basement—a place filled with family, laughter, and some of his fondest memories. Grace & Disgrace captures that exact feeling. From the moment you walk in, it feels welcoming, nostalgic, and genuinely like home, which makes complete sense knowing that inspiration. In a city that boasts a thriving cocktail culture, Ralph of Grace & Disgrace is a crucial piece of Rochester’s food+bev tapestry. His small bar takes the energy that would be required by volume, and places it into every intimate detail of an evening of service. The drinks are fantastic, the food is intoxicating, but the hospitality and experience is what is truly unmatched in this city. Visiting Ralph is a must for any cocktail enthusiast, and I highly suggest sitting at the bar to understand the passion, knowledge, and artistry that goes into every element. I had a wonderful first experience with my best friend celebrating a new job, we sat at the bar and met Ralph. I love that this is reservation only. It is intimate, warm and cozy. We were able to share three amazing cocktails, have two different kinds of dumplings, the challah and jam and the creme brulee. It was all delicious. It really feels special in there. Like an evening "third space". Thank you Ralph! I'll definitely be back.

Grace & Disgrace is exemplary. Hand crafted cocktails were absolutely amazing. Looks Ain't Enough was so delicious and I loved the ginger flavor. The men enjoyed the Old Fashioned and we enjoyed smelling the smokiness of it. I was so impressed as I'm not much of a drinker, but I could taste the thoughtfulness, care, and quality of the drinks. Ralph is also a wonderful person who loves doing what he does and it really showed. He shared with us his ice business and loved his metaphor of a musician group as he explained how he comes up with the drinks. He changes the menu when he sees fit, but also keeps the hits. Also, the lamb chops were delicious with that pesto sauce! If you're looking for phenomenally crafted mind-blowing drinks and small bites in an intimate setting, book your reservation now.

Snuck in on Saturday when they first opened. We didnt have a reservation, but were greeted by the owner Ralph who graciously sat our group of 4 at the bar. We were there for a quick cocktail and didn’t have time for food as he was fully booked for the night. Ralph made us some delicious cocktails, and talked to us about his ice making process. He puts love into the ice that goes into your drinks. He also recommended a bunch of different places in the area to visit for cocktails and food. Cool little spot. Next time we will make a reservation and try some of the food there. Thanks Ralph for a great experience, your new Buffalo Friends!!

Grace & Disgrace is the genuine article. With a menu that has well crafted classics and innovative house cocktails, this restaurant is both challenging the notions of cocktails and letting the cocktails speak for themselves; that’s no small feat. The level of artistry in the presentation is incredible, and the flavor profiles are off the charts. Couple that with a cozy atmosphere and elegantly crafted small bites that pack a flavorful punch, and you have a perfect evening. I’ll be back soon!

Amazing place! Decided to go for our anniversary and it was the best decision. The cocktails were fabulous and the food (especially the lamb) was out of this world. Great vibes and very cozy atmosphere! Would high recommend you check it out!

This cocktail lounge is top notch and more on the high end side. The owner is extremely nice and it is evident how important it is to him that the customers wonderful experience. We had the Zucchini Frittes and they are delicious, we will be thinking about them for a long time. The cocktails have a high attention to detail, down to the ice cubes, and were great. I don’t want to share some of the other touches he does because I think it is worth a little bit of a surprise.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. The owner, Ralph, has been in this industry for years, and you can tell just from the attention to detail with everything he’s done here. Food, atmosphere, and the beautiful drinks are truly special. Also, 11/10 service. So happy this place is here for my partner and I to keep coming back to!

A friend made reservations and didn't tell the rest of us where. It was a pleasant surprise! Although, we were only there for a drink and dessert. The drinks were good, but the desserts were to die for! Service was great, and made us all feel like we're special guests.
